We compared the 256 GB OCZ Vector solid state drive to the industry standards - the Intel 520 Series SSD and the Intel X25-M G2. Even though the Indilinx Barefoot 3 controller does not compress data for better performance, we continue to test the drive using compressible and non-compressible data to mimic real-world usage. So the following results are based on the average of separate tests using compressible and non-compressible data.
