The Motherboard
Measuring in at only 30.5 cm x 22.9 cm, the ASUS P5NSLI is not a particularly large motherboard. Still, they managed to squeeze in two x16 PCI Express slots and three x1 PCI Express slots as well as two PCI slots.
Everything is nicely colour-coded for easy installation, from the SATA connectors to the IO ports on the back panel. Unfortunately, ASUS chose to top that off with a rather garish and cheap-looking pink heatsink for the nForce 570 SLI north bridge chip.
We would have preferred a more macho black or even gold. Oh well, there could have been a sale on cheap pink heatsinks. Or maybe ASUS decided to add a little feminine touch to attract female enthusiasts.
