Doom 3

In Doom 3, there was absolutely no performance difference whether PEG Link Mode was enabled (Faster setting) or disabled (Normal setting).

Enemy Territory

We noticed the same thing in Enemy Territory. There were slight improvements in frame rate at resolutions of 1024x768 and above but they were really quite insignificant.

SPECviewperf

Like in the other OpenGL applications, PEG Link Mode doesn't seem to do anything in SPECviewperf.

In both synthetic and real OpenGL applications, PEG Link Mode doesn't seem to affect the results at all. The differences were all less than 2%. Well, these are OpenGL applications which are not supposed to be affected. So, let's see how DirectX 8 and DirectX 9 games fare.
