Conclusion
The Kingston 256MB microSD Card may not have the capacity of larger flash memory cards, but it still performed very well. It did well in our tests, showing very good read performance and a write performance of approximately 32X. All in a tiny card the size of a fingernail.
That's pretty surprising because it's mainly targeted at mobile phones, which are not devices that particularly scream high performance! Still, if you need a fast microSD card for your mobile phone, this card should fit the bill.
The package itself is pretty great, with Kingston throwing in not only a protective plastic case but also a microSD adaptor card. This allows you to easily transfer data from the microSD card to your computer.
If you are looking for a microSD card, you should certainly give the Kingston 256MB microSD card a look. It's fast, has a nice package and from what we saw at press time, is actually cheaper than its competitors!
