Essential, Value & Basic Processors
Here is Intel's latest internal roadmap for their Essential, Value and Basic processors.
Today, Intel will have launched the Core 2 Duo E7400 processor. It will followed by the Core 2 Duo E7500 in January, 2009. In the Value segment, the Pentium Dual-Core E5200 processor would be replaced by the E5300 processor in December, 2008. The Celeron Dual-Core E1400 would also be replaced by a faster E1500 processor in December, 2008. For more details, take a look here.
There does not seem to be anything new in store for the Intel Atom processors right up to Q3, 2009. Take a look.
