Graphics And Sound
What makes this game really great is the sound and visual detail of the surroundings. The atmosphere and ambience of the surroundings can easily be felt and heard. And the visual detail of the palace and its surrounding are breathtaking! In fact, I was particularly attracted to the effect of lights shining through the window and such.
However, there was no background music when the prince is running around the palace. There is only music during combat. As mentioned earlier, the combat sequences are accompanied some middle-eastern themed rock music.
They use pretty nice sound effects like clanging of swords when an attack is blocked. The game even comes with swooshing sounds of the prince or an enemy moving. They even took the effort to add sparks whenever the sword hits hard objects or other weapons.
When slow-motion (delay) is activated, the scenes are motion-blurred. Even the sound is slowed down with a slo-mo effect. Another form of motion-blurring appears when rewind (revival) is activated. But you get a totally different sound. That is nice though. At least you'll get to differentiate slow motion from a rewind.
There is just too many nice visual details for me to describe. And yes, I do find it rather hard to describe the visual effects in detail. All I can say is that I am VERY impressed.
