Installation Of The Bezel
The first thing you should do before installing the Soyo BayOne XP is choose the bezel that you intend to use. After that, flip the BayOne XP drive over.
Take a look at the two tabs on the underside. Here's a close up of one of those tabs.
Just pull the bezel off using the tabs and it should snap right off. Then, snap in the one that you want to use, and you are done. For this review, I decided to use the black bezel because I have a black case.
Installing It Into A 5.25" Bay
Now, if you intend to install it in a 5.25" drive bay, then you should use the adapter cage. If not, just install it into the 3.5" floppy bay. I'll show you how to install it into the 5.25" bay first.
First of all, slide the BayOne XP into the 5.25" adapter and screw it in. Soyo has made openings in the sides of the adapter so that you can easily screw it in.
After that, you can slide it into the 5.25" drive bay.
All done! Now all that's left is to screw in the adaptor cage. However, I wish that they could have made an option for the adapter to have interchangeable surfaces too. Oh well, a can of spray paint should be able to fix that problem, I guess...
