The New Heroes!

Each and every faction in Frozen Throne comes with a new hero. The Undead, I would say, probably has the most impressive new hero of all - the Crypt Lord. It is a gigantic monster that looks like stag beetle. It betrayed its own kind, the Nerubians to serve the Lich King by protecting the frozen throne at Northend.
The Crypt Lord's Impale ability not only does serious damage to its enemies, it even stuns them. Its spiked carapace gives this Nerubian hero extra bonus armor and returns damage to any melee attackers.
For the Night Elves, the Human Alliance and the Orcs, they were granted the Warden Maeiv, the Blood Mage Kael and the Shadow Hunter respectively as their new heroes.
The Warden Maeiv is a hero capable of striking hard and fast. Just like the Priestess of the Moon, she has the ability to hide during night. The Warden's Fan of Knives ability makes quick work of dealing groups of enemies with low HP (health points). The Blink ability helps the Warden to quickly move in and out of the combat.
As for the Blood Mage Kael, the hunger for magic finally leads this Elven hero to the dark side where only his needs can finally be fulfilled. Kael has the Flame Strike ability which does splash fire damage. The phoenix summoned by the Blood Mage has a devastating fire attack and the ability to resurrect again and again after it dies.
The Shadow Hunter, on the other hand, has the ability to heal friendly units or curse enemies, which is a great addition to the Orcish Horde. His Healing Wave heals up to five units at a time. The Big Bad Voodoo spell is perhaps one of the most useful spells in the Frozen Throne expansion pack. It actually makes surrounding friendly units invulnerable to attacks for a short period of time!
Now, let's take a look at the new units that are available with the Frozen Throne expansion pack!
