Momentus 7200.2

For those who are looking for nothing but the fastest notebook hard drive, you will be happy to note that Seagate will be updating their Momentus 7200 family with a new addition - the Momentus 7200.2!

It will feature even higher capacities as well as a more robust design, making it suitable for high-end mobile PCs, small form factor PCs or servers, blade servers and even RAID systems.

The new Momentus 7200.2 drives will be available in the first quarter of 2007 with capacities of up to 160GB. It will only ship with the SATA 1.5Gb/s interface.
