With help from their channel partners, Intel has equipped selected Starbucks outlets with Centrino Experience Zones. A Centrino Experience Zone is actually just an area where you can try out free WiFi access on complementary Centrino-based notebooks.

Yes, when you go to Starbucks outlets participating in this new campaign, you will find a special area with different Centrino notebook models for you to try out. No, they are NOT yours to take home, so don't even think about it!

The notebooks also come with earphones for a more "immersive" experience.

And if you take a closer look at the table, each of them will be labelled according to the channel partner who provided the notebook.

I have no idea if access to these notebooks are time-limited or up for leeching. But I have Intel's schedule for these Experience Zones. So, if you want to check it out, take a look at the schedule below!

Although it would be great (for Starbucks as well!) to have free notebooks available for free Internet surfing, the Centrino Experience Zones are only a temporary marketing campaign. If you want to try out the different notebooks, this is your chance.
