Introduction

Cooler Master is veteran when it comes to cooling products. They have been producing a wide range of cooling products for the PC market for many years now. But not satisfied with just cooling products, Cooler Master has also chosen to branch out into the modding market.

They now make an assortment of modding products from CCFLs (Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lights), rounded cables to multi-function panels and front panel bezels. Even their coolers have taken on unique looks to cater to the modding market!

Today, we will take an in-depth look at their spanking new product for the modding market - the Cooler Master Musketeer 2!

The Musketeer 2

The Musketeer 2 is what Cooler Master calls a Systems Dynamics Detector. A what??

Well, the Musketeer 2 is actually nothing but a multi-function front panel display, albeit with a twist. Like its predecessor, the original Musketeer, the Musketeer 2 is banking on its analog dials to stand out from the crowd. Yeah, you got it - analog dials, ladies and gentlemen! Kinds of bring back memories, doesn't it?

Let's see what Cooler Master says about the Musketeer 2 :-

The Musketeer II is a brand new design to combine multimedia functions. Three dials on the front panel indicates not only the speed of your hard disk but also the pressure released from the sound. 7-color adjustable LED display makes your desktop more stylish and colorful. It is nice to turn your volume up or down without having to go into your software-based volume control setting.
