As you can see, the recovery process is quite simple. The only thing that might test your patience is the fact you can only get the TI Remote Application to connect to the modem if your timing is right. You will probably have to try it out a few times before you get it right.
This guide was created for Aztech ADSL router modems which are based on the Texas Instruments AR7 chipset. This method had been tested on the Aztech DSL600E and DSL600EU modems. However, it is possible to use this method to reflash modems from other manufacturers, as long as they use the same TI AR7 chipset.
If you are using a modem using another TI chipset, it may still be possible to use the same TI Remote Application. However, I will assume no responsibility for any damage that may arise from your attempts.
If you are using a modem that uses a non-TI chipset, it may be possible to use the same method, albeit using a similar utility from the chipset manufacturer. Again, I will assume no responsibility for any damage that may arise from your attempts.
