Even at 1280x1024, the GeForce 8800 GTX is really fast. It was able to beat the GeForce 7950 GX2 by 34.7%. It was almost twice as fast as the GeForce 7900 GTX and over 2.5X faster than the GeForce 7900 GT!

1600 x 1200

At the higher resolution of 1600x1200, the GeForce 8800 GTX actually lost a little of its lead over the GeForce 7-series cards. It was 31.3% faster than the GeForce 7950 GX2, 91.5% faster than the GeForce 7900 GTX but still over 2.5X faster than the GeForce 7900 GT.

1600 x 1200, 8xAA

Only with 8xAA enabled, did the GeForce 8800 GTX pulled far from the GeForce 7950 GX2. It was actually just over twice as fast as the dual GPU GeForce 7950 GX2. Very impressive!
