F.E.A.R. (Lowest Frame Rate)

1280 x 1024

At 1280x1024, the GeForce 8800 GTX was faster than the GeForce 7950 GX2 by 12.6%. It was also faster than the GeForce 7900 GTX by 63.7% and was over 2.2X faster than the GeForce 7900 GT.

 

1600 x 1200

At the higher resolution of 1600x1200, the GeForce 8800 GTX was surprisingly only 5% faster than the GeForce 7950 GX2. But it was still 66.8% faster than the GeForce 7900 GTX and almost 2.2X faster than the GeForce 7900 GT.

 

1600 x 1200, 8xAA

Enabling 8xAA reduced the GeForce 8800 GTX's frame rate by only 14.4%. In comparison, it reduced the GeForce 7950 GX2's frame rate by 47.9%.

With 8xAA enabled at 1600x1200, the GeForce 8800 GTX was 72.5% faster than the GeForce 7950 GX2.
