IOPS Scaling - 4 KB Sequential Read
This chart shows the drive's ability to handle multiple 4 KB sequential read operations simultaneously. The solid state drives in this comparison were arranged according to their average performance. While a high overall score may be desirable, this is not necessary for desktop or laptop users who should concentrate on the scores from the single I/O and 8 outstanding I/Os tests. The 32 outstanding I/O test is only important for server users.

The OCZ RevoDrive did rather poorly at single I/Os, delivering just over 10K IOPS; but when the number of outstanding I/Os increased, its performance increased tremendously, eventually beating the three Intel solid state drives at 32 outstanding I/Os. The OCZ Vector also exhibited the same characteristics, albeit at a lower level.

These results mimic what we saw with the 4 KB random write results. The OCZ Vector was slightly faster than the HyperX Savage, thanks to its stronger performance with 1 and 32 simultaneous operations. The Savage was stronger with 8 simultaneous operations though.
