The Module
The module was covered with two gold-plated XTC heatspreaders, which were certainly eye-catching. However, you should hold the module only by the sides because fingerprints show up very easily on the burnished surface.
The white label confirms that this is truly the OCZ PC-4000 Gold Gamer eXtreme XTC module with a capacity of 1024MB and rated timings of 3-4-3-8.
Label
In the center of the front heatspreader was a stylized Z, instead of the usual OCZ logo. In the back, there was nothing, except for the XTC heatspreader.
Peeking under the heatspreaders, we noticed nothing out of the ordinary. The memory chips were all properly taped to the heatspreaders.
Unlike other OCZ modules, these heatspreaders were held in place by only thermal tape. While it's possible to peel off the heatspreaders, it will almost certainly result in bent heatspreaders.
Also, note that removing the heatspreader automatically voids the module's lifetime warranty. So, don't attempt it unless you absolutely MUST peek at the memory chips.
