Conclusion
NVIDIA has certainly been busy. They have been launching product after product, even announcing a new SLI Physics feature at GDC 2006. But that's not all for today is the day that they formally launch their latest GPUs - the mid-range GeForce 7600 GS and the low-end GeForce 7300 LE!
The NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GS will be the true replacement of the highly popular GeForce 6600 GT. Priced between $129 and $149, this card will be targeted squarely at the X1600 Pro, although NVIDIA says it's more than a match for the X1600 XT.
The GeForce 7300 LE will be the lowest-end card in the NVIDIA GeForce 7 series. Priced from $49 to $69, it will be a very affordable card. But it's no slouch. It's at least a serious competitor of the ATI X1300 LE.
If these cards perk your interest, well, the good news is they are available immediately from retail or e-tail stores. It's really good to see products ready for purchase, right after they are announced. Of course, the new NVIDIA SLI Physics feature is another story...
