Packaging & Contents

The Foxconn BlackOps X48 motherboard came in a huge, heavy box. Just look at the bulk! It's about half again as thick as most other motherboard boxes. Removing the outer cover, you will find a white hard cardboard box. The motherboard sits at the top with two compartment holding the SONAR audio daughter card, a large 12 cm fan and the extension tower for the Quantum Cooler.

Underneath the motherboard are two boxes of accessories. When you remove everything, you will find an amazing assortment of items. You will find :

  • Foxconn BlackOps X48 motherboard (with Quantum water cooler block attached)
  • Quantum Flow fan
  • Liquid nitrogen / dry ice extension tower for the Quantum Cooler
  • SONAR audio daughter card
  • Quantum Lap motherboard tray
  • One box containing the documentation, driver CD and disk, value-added components
  • One box containing SATA and power cables, spacers and even cable ties

Inside the first box, you will find :

  • Documentation
  • Driver CD and Intel Matrix RAID/AHCI driver floppy disk
  • North bridge fan
  • Two hose barbs for the Quantum water cooler block
  • Floppy disk drive and IDE cables
  • I/O shield
  • 4 screws for the Quantum Cooler
  • Quantum Force dogtags
  • 6 Quantum Force tattoos
  • Quantum Force sticker

Inside the second box, you will find :

  • 4 straight SATA data and power cable sets
  • 2 right-angled SATA data and power cable sets
  • Copper spacers
  • Quantum Flow mount
  • USB and IEEE1394a bracket
  • 15 cable ties

That's pretty much everything you will ever need and more! The Foxconn BlackOps motherboard is both ready for mounting in a case or on the provided Quantum Lap motherboard tray.
