The Power Supply
The DiGiDice PSU & PSU Exposed!
Quite surprisingly, the DiGiDice is powered by a fairly small PSU. In fact, it seems rather under-powered by today's standards! I wonder if it is really capable of powering the DiGiDice, especially when it is probably the most expandable SFF system in the market. With support for four IDE devices and an Intel Pentium 4 processor, the DiGiDice will need quite a lot of power when fully configured.
Nonetheless, let's explore the PSU further before drawing any conclusions.
The DiGiDice is powered by the ENP-2320 power supply from Enhance Electronics. It is a 200W power supply that also supports Active P FC. Although I have not heard of them, the company has been manufacturing switching power supplies since 1986.
