V-Link Data Rate
Common Options : 4X, 8X
Quick Review
This BIOS feature is used to toggle the V-Link bus mode between the original V-Link and the newer and faster 8X V-Link.
When set to 4X, the V-Link bus will be set to run at 66MHz with quad data rate (QDR) transfers. This essentially reverts it to the original V-Link mode with a bandwidth of 266MB/s.
When set to 8X, the V-Link bus will be set to run at 66MHz with octal data rate (ODR) transfers. This sets it to run at the 8X V-Link mode with a bandwidth of 533MB/s.
It is recommended that you set this BIOS feature to 8X for better performance.
