Titan Graphics Card Cooler Review

The Mounting Clips

The mounting clips are what I particularly like about this product. It's very hard to design a graphics card cooler capable of supporting the different types of mounting holes. As such, Titan's choice of supplying not one, but three types of mounting clips, is very much welcomed.

With the choice of three types of mounting clips, you can use this kit with virtually any graphics card or motherboard that has at least two mounting holes around the chip to be cooled. It also allows you to re-use the kit when you upgrade your graphics card. This is certainly a great advantage over the other graphics card coolers in the market.

The mounting clips

The three clips are of different lengths - 52.0mm, 54.8mm and 59.0mm. If you are not sure which clip to use, just take a ruler and measure the gap between the holes or match the gap with the appropriate clip. If you choose the wrong one, you won't be able to fit the cooler to the card. If your card doesn't come with any mounting holes, then you are out of luck because no thermal epoxy or tape was included in the kit. However, you can always buy your own thermal epoxy or tape to attach the cooler to the chip.

The Rest Of The Kit

The cooler also comes with a small syringe containing about 1.5g of silver-impregnated thermal paste. All necessary screws and plastic pins required for installation are included, together with a spare of each type. All in all, it's a well thought-out kit. Kudos to Titan.
