The product operates by lighting up when the two contact points (contact pads rather) get shorted. And.... that's it!

The Tiki Hut Nemo comes built with a red LED. It's pretty bright when the contact points are shorted. Extreme modders might take a look and say... "Hey, what if I put in a blue LED instead!" Yes. It looks like this product is highly moddable!

Upon closer inspection, we thought that the pads should have been made of copper for the best conductivity. The graphite-paint-on-plastic was not good enough to run the product well with a light touch. We needed to apply pressure to get the LED to light up!
