With the new DDR2 standard becoming more popular,
OCZ Technology has just announced the release of the OCZ PC2-6400 Platinum
DDR2 memory - a series of extremely high-performance DDR2 memory. The OCZ DDR2 Platinum series was previously available in DDR2-400, DDR2-466, DDR2-533, DDR2-600 and DDR2-625 speed grades. It is now available in the DDR2-800 speed grade as well. The Platinum series features OCZ's proprietary Enhanced Bandwidth Technology. It provides intelligent bandwidth management by offering the lowest possible page access times while reducing the strain on the DRAM I/O logic by allowing relaxed CAS latencies that are hidden behind burst outputs of data. The OCZ PC2-6400 Platinum EB memory boasts 4-3-3 timings - lower latencies than even the OCZ PC2-6400 Gold memory.
