Q&A Session

Finally, there was a Q&A session where Jim answered several questions by the press. A few of the questions were regarding Seagate's latest technology - the Perpendicular Recording feature.

During Q&A Session

Jim acknowledged that, as of this moment, they are not the only one with this technology. In fact, their competitors are already producing drives with this feature but Seagate was the first to come out with the perpendicular recording disc drive. He also mentioned that they are already providing the EE25 series hard disks to a few automobile companies but he would not reveal which.

We were then asked to take snapshots of the latest hard disks which were on display at the back of the press room.
