However, it did better in the High-End Disk WinMark 99 test. This time, it closed its performance gap with the 2 TB Western Digital Caviar Black to just 23.5%, and actually beat the 2 TB Western Digital Caviar Green AFT, albeit by just 1%.

Transfer Rate Range
This chart shows you the range of platter-to-buffer transfer rates from the innermost track to the outermost track. In other words, it shows you the range of disk transfer rates of the hard drives (from minimum and maximum).
The 3 TB Western Digital Caviar Green AFT hard disk drive matched the throughput of the 1 TB Samsung Spinpoint F1 (which spins at 7200 RPM) at the outermost tracks, but was a tad slower on the inner tracks. Still, that's a pretty good showing for this 3 TB hard disk drive.
