It has been some time since Microsoft released any new software. But now the new Windows Media Player 10 has arrived!
Before Windows Media Player 10, I almost never use Windows Media Player. Why? Well, I just didn't like its interface at all. It felt so bulky, squarish and so yesterday.
In addition, it can't even play many files without the need to install new codecs. Worse of all, Windows Media Player's codec auto-download feature failed most of the time!
When Windows Media Player 10 was released, I saw my friends using it with ease. So, I decided to give it one more try. And I was most impressed!
Since then, it has become my default media player!
So, what actually makes a good media player? For me, as long as a media player loads up fast and have no problem playing all the media files I throw at it without fuss, then it's a good media player.
Today, we will take a look at the new Windows Media Player 10 (WMP10). We will take a close look at its new and improved features. You will see for yourself if WMP10 is worth the upgrade. In addition, I will also compare WMP10 with a few other media players like Winamp, foobar2000, BSplayer and Media Player Classic.
Let's go check out the new Windows Media Player 10!
