The 1 TB Seagate Backup Plus
The Seagate Backup Plus 1 TB portable hard disk drive is available in four colours - black, silver, blue and red. The black-coloured model is completely black all around, while the other colours have a brushed aluminium finish on the top, and a smooth white finish on the other surfaces. The drive's label is located on the underside, and lists the drive model, storage capacity, parts and serial numbers as well as country of manufacture and assembly.

The drive itself is about the same size as the standard-sized 2.5" portable hard disk drive, but slimmer than many higher capacity drives. Here's quick comparison of its size and weight versus those of other 2.5" external drives :

Even though the Backup Plus uses a single 2.5" hard disk drive internally, it actually weighs almost as much as the larger portable hard disk drives like the 2 TB Western Digital My Passport.
