Full Screen 3D Gaming Mode

This is the best mode for 3D games. Only one display will be active and fully accelerated by the SLI graphics cards. The second display may just display the desktop wallpaper or a blank screen.

Multi-Monitor Gaming Mode

For a few games that support multi-monitor gaming (e.g. Supreme Commander, World In Conflict, Flight Simulator X), you can run them on both displays.

Windowed Gaming Mode

The third mode is the windowed gaming mode. That means running the 3D game in a windowed mode (not full screen). This allows you to display other applications simultaneously on the second monitor.
