The Kingston DataTraveler Ultimate 3.0 was almost 50% faster than its closest competitor, the Active Media Wink. The higher throughput of USB 3.0 played a part, but so did the fast flash memory chips inside.

Write speed is where the Kingston DataTraveler Ultimate 3.0 leaves its competitor in the dust. Of course, its write speed is nowhere close to its read speed (especially when it came to small files), but it was over 4.5x faster than its nearest competitor, the Kingston DataTraveler DT110G, in writes!
