Thermaltake Xaser Bag Review

Carrying The Xaser

On the opposite side of the bag, there is an "X" that gives the bag the much-needed support.

Support straps

This effectively prevents the back of the the harness from expanding sideways when you carry it with the shoulder strap.

The Xaser Bag can be carried in two ways. The first way is by using the handle on the top of the bag.

The Handle

The handle is made of PVC, which is tough and durable. It won't go out of shape, fits the hand comfortably (no sharp edges ) and the grip isn't slippery.

It also has the Thermaltake line "Cool All Your Life". Using this way to carry the bag would make your PC seem like an oversized briefcase.

The second method of carrying your rig is by using the shoulder strap.

Shoulder Strap

The shoulder strap clips on the Xaser Bag (more on this later) and allows you to carry it by your side. I generally prefer this method as it frees up my hand to do other things.

Another thing that's worth mentioning is the fact that they supplied a pad for the part of the strap that rests on your shoulder. The pad cushions the pressure of the strap so that your shoulder will not hurt (as much).

Still can't see it? Let me go through this step-by-step.

Step One : I clip on the shoulder strap.

Clipped on

Step Two : I enclose it in the neoprene via a velcro interface.

Enclosed in neoprene

That's it! Now the metal clips won't scratch your case (or you). No sharp edges!

This results in a much more comfortable experience in toting your PC around!
