The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Smartphone Revealed!
Check out the new Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge (white) on the left compared against the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge (black) on the right.
This time, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge (white) is the closer phone, with the black Samsung Galaxy S6 behind.
This is a mock model of the Gold Platinum version of the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. It fits well in my hand although I have to say it's quite hard to use it single-handedly. For me at least, it worked best using two hands...
Even though the new Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge comes with built-in support for wireless charging, it still comes with a USB port for wired charging and data extraction. Like many current smartphone models, the headphone jack is located at the bottom.

Like the Galaxy S6 we tested, this is an engineering sample of the Galaxy S6 Edge, but we are told it's the final version and will be similar in all aspects to the retail version, which will also be released to 10 countries on the 10th of April 2015.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge will have the model number SM-G925F and will also ship with Android 5.0 Lollipop. The engineering sample we tried out also ran on Android 5.0.2.
Just like the Galaxy S6, the Galaxy S6 Edge features super quick charging, which gives you 4 hours of usage with just a 10 minute charge to provide 4 hours of usage, and the promise that a full recharge will take half as long as an Apple iPhone 6 Plus.
As we saw in the S6, the S6 Edge also draws 1.67A of current at 9V,much higher than the usual 5V, 1.5A charging.
