A Closer Look At The Foxconn Qbook
This is what the Foxconn Qbook looks like from the front. The 8.9" LCD display has a shiny bezel but the keyboard and the rest of the lower chassis appear to have a matte finish, which we think is great because it feels better and will not show unsightly fingerprints.
The integrated 1.3 megapixel webcam is located at the top of the LCD display's bezel. Like its bezel, the LCD display's back panel also has a shiny, reflective surface. There are various I/O ports on the left and right sides while the power button is located at the upper right corner of the keyboard.
On the left side of the Qbook, you will find the power input port, a VGA display port, one USB 2.0 port and audio input and output ports. On the right side are an integrated card reader, two USB 2.0 ports, a modem port, a LAN port and a notch for the Kensington lock.
So, what do you think? Is the new Foxconn Qbook a worthy challenger to the ASUS Eee PC 901? Let us know what you think!
