Although the GeForce 7900 GTX and the GeForce 7900 GT are essentially the same GPU, with only differences in core and memory clock speeds, frame buffer size and thermal solution, the GeForce 7600 GT is certainly a totally different GPU.
It has far fewer transistors, as well as performance characteristics like pixel pipelines and vertex pipelines. It also has a 128-bits wide memory interface, unlike the two higher-end GPUs which support a 256-bits wide memory interface.

The GeForce 7600 GT now boasts an increase in maximum pixel throughput of over 67% and a boost in memory bandwidth of 40% over its predecessor. Its vertex output has also increased, by almost 87%. Of course, those were not the only changes to the die. There are also many architectural updates that bring the GeForce 7600 GT up to par with the other GeForce 7 series GPUs.
