Mobile Value Roadmap
Key points to note in this updated roadmap would be :
- Transition from single-core Celeron to dual-core Celeron in Q1'09, with the introduction of the Celeron Dual-Core T1700, T1600.
- Introduction of the Celeron 585 in Q1'09.
- Switch from the current Merom 65 nm processor cores to Penryn-based 45 nm processor cores in Q3'09 for standard-voltage Celerons.
Here are the specifications of those upcoming processors :

Netbook Roadmap
Unfortunately, there does not seem to be any foreseeable updates for the Intel netbook platform. Intel seems content to continue selling the Atom N270 processor paired with the 945GSE chipset all the way up to Q3'09. Of course, that may change in the future with an update to this roadmap.
