The Upgrading Process : Beginning
Now, let's take a look at how the Windows Anytime Upgrade (WAU) process works for Windows 7. Let's use the Windows 7 Home Premium edition as an example. You can check the Windows 7 edition you are using in Control Panel -> System and Security -> System.
Note the link "Get more features with a new edition of Windows 7" just below it. You can begin the Windows Anytime Upgrade process by clicking that link. Alternatively, you can click on the Windows Anytime Upgrade link in the Extras and Upgrades folder.
Or you can simply search for the link by using the Search function on the Start menu.
