The End Of The Road

To make way for new models, some of the older models will inevitably be discontinued. This is the latest mobile processor lifecycle roadmap from Intel.

EOL : End Of Lifecycle (Last order date, with orders non-cancellable/returnable)

These 9 processors are scheduled to be discontinued in January 2009 :

• Intel Core 2 Extreme X7900 and X7800
• Intel Core 2 Duo T7800, T7700, T7500 and T7300
• Intel Core 2 Duo L7700, L7500 and L7300

This will be followed by these 13 processors in April 2009 :

• Intel Core 2 Duo T7250 & T7100
• Intel Core 2 Duo U7700, U7600 and U7500
• Intel Core 2 Duo U2200 and U2100
• Intel Celeron 570, 560, 550, 540, 530 and 523

Finally, these 5 processors will see the end of the line in September 2009 :

• Intel Core 2 Extreme X9000
• Intel Core 2 Duo T950, T9300, T8300 and T8100
