This is the most important test for those who intend to use the OCZ Enyo as a portable boot drive. In this small random access test, the OCZ Enyo not only delivered the highest read speed amongst these USB flash drives, it also delivered the highest write speed we have ever seen.

When it came to large 512 KB random accesses, the OCZ Enyo was the undisputed champion. Its combination of a super high read speed and a very fast write speed put it a head of all the other flash drives. It was 88% faster at reads and 20.5x faster at writes than its nearest competitor, the Kingston DataTraveler Ultimate 3.0.
Switching to the USB 2.0 mode reduced its performance but it was actually close to the Kingston DataTraveler Ultimate 3.0's USB 3.0 performance at reads and almost 5.5x faster at writes!
