IOPS Scaling - 512 KB Random Read
This chart shows the drive's ability to handle multiple 512 KB random read operations simultaneously. The solid state drives in this comparison were arranged according to their average performance. While a high overall score may be desirable, this is not necessary for desktop or laptop users who should concentrate on the scores from the single I/O and 8 outstanding I/Os tests. The 32 outstanding I/O test is only important for server users.

The HyperX Savage took over the top place from the OCZ Vector, by delivering slightly better performance across the board. Together with OCZ RevoDrive, they are the only SSDs to scale somewhat with multiple simultaneous operations.

The HyperX Savage was phenomenal in this test, delivering significantly better performance than even the OCZ Vector. In fact, it was almost twice as fast as the PCI Express-based OCZ RevoDrive, and more than twice as fast as the Intel 520 Series SSD.
Just a note on their controllers. The HyperX Savage uses the relatively rare Phison PS3110 while the 256 GB OCZ Vector uses the Indilinx Barefoot 3. The other three SSDs in this top 5 table above were powered by a SandForce controller, two controllers in the case of the RevoDrive.
