Introduction
It all started when I bought the Shuttle BareBones case. It is, for all intents and purposes, an ordinary computer case except that it is very very small. The motherboard that came with the system can only accomodate one AGP card and one PCI while the case itself would only accept one 5.25" drive and two 3.5" drives.
My initial intention was to use this as a replacement for my main computer as it was seeing disuse ever since I got my consoles! So, I was planning to shift the role of my main system from a personal computer to a file server. Hence, the installation of a 120GB hard disk.
After using it for a while, an idea I had previously returned to me. It was about... putting a computer into the car!
Previously, I hooked up with a friend with the idea of using the VIA Mini-ITX motherboard and then custom building a case over it. But that didn't work out because of time constraints and also because it's virtually impossible to find the board here!
Now that I have a small computer system, all I need to do is stick it in the car, right? Well, here's what I went through...
