The Scorpio Black Hard Disk Drive

The 320 GB Western Digital Scorpio Black hard drive looks just like any other 2.5" notebook hard drive, with a label on the top plate and an uncovered PCB on the underside.

The label has a lot of important information, like the hard drive model and capacity. There are also interesting details like its date and place of manufacture. This particular drive was manufactured in Thailand on 7 June 2008.

Also, the label is where you look for the drive's serial number in case you need to RMA it. Of course, we hope that never happens!

Let's take a look at its specifications.
