Introduction

Anyone who regularly uses a camera will know that one of the most annoying things that they will have deal with are dirty lenses. This is a constant problem as lenses are always exposed to dust, dirt, and awful fingerprint smudges.

Cleaning the lens is not always easy as it requires the use of special lens tissues or cleaning kits. In addition, the cleaning solution used in such kits may wear out the delicate coatings found on most camera lenses. As a result, many people often avoid cleaning their lenses as it is both tedious as well as potentially damaging to the lenses.

However, cleaning your lenses may no longer be such a headache for you. Today, we will be looking at a lens cleaning product that could eliminate all of the problems associated with the cleaning of lenses - the Nikon Lens Pen!

This Lens Pen that we are reviewing today was actually made by a company called International Parkside Products, Inc. It was merely relabelled and sold by Nikon. You will probably see the Lens Pen being sold by other vendors but they're all the same product made by the same company.

Packaging

The Lens Pen comes in clear packaging with a cardboard insert that highlights its features.

Front of the packaging

The front of the package shows a list of the devices that the Lens Pen is capable of cleaning. Towards the bottom, it states that the Lens Pen is safe for all lenses.

Let's have a look at the back of the packaging.

Back packaging

The back of the packaging displays a short set of instructions on how to use the Lens Pen.

That about covers the Lens Pen's packaging. Onwards to the Lens Pen itself!
