Patterns
As you can see, three patterns of the Liquid Neon are available in the market - the spiral pattern, the switching pattern and the lava pattern.
Each pattern is available in several colours as well as colour combinations, primarily red and blue. The one that Sunbeam sent us had a red spiral light.
Instructions
The instuctions on the installation of the Liquid Neon are displayed on the box.
In The Box
These are what you can expect to find within the box :
- One Liquid Neon CCFL
- One PCI back plate with switch
- One 12V inverter
- Velcro tapes for the inverter and tube end
- One screw for the PCI back plate
I don't think you are going to find anything missing from the box (except, maybe the velcro tape) because everything is connected to each other by the wires. So, if you find the switch useless, you may remove it only if you cut the wires to it.
Features
These are the features of the Liquid Neon, as stated on the box :
- 3 patterns
- Waving, rippling effect
- Impressive looking
- Low heat
- High brightness
- Easy installation
Hmm.. low heat. That's pretty subjective - how low is 'low'?
The Liquid Neon is actually a lot hotter than my CoolerMaster CCFL. It's definitely not 'low heat', in my opinion!
