Inside The Box
Inside the box, you will find a simple fold-out manual, a multi-fan connector, a power cord, some Velcro bands and the power supply. Everything you need but nothing extraordinary.
The two 400W power supplies have a nice black finish, which looks a lot better than the galvanised steel finish on the older 300W models.
On the rear-end of the power supply, there is an AC power cord, a big power switch but no 110V-220V voltage selector.
It is not common for power supplies to come with accessories but this Zalman power supply comes with four blue velcro cable ties to tidy up the messy power cables. It also comes with a simple but effective multi-fan connector which I find it rather useful.
This Zalman ZM-MC1 multi-fan connector is basically a 4-pin Molex connector that is linked to four separate 3-pin fan connectors. It works exactly like the 'Fanbus' but with the proper 3-pin connectors that most fans use.
However, this power supply does not come with voltage potentiometer adjustment. Neither does it have any sleeves on the ATX power cables or a fan speed monitoring connector for the power supply's fans.
