Introduction
I happened to be in Penang when Hewlett-Packard invited members of MyPDACafe and iPAQClub to the launch of their new range of Pocket PCs. So, I tagged along for the ride and was able to check out the new HP Pocket PCs.
Unfortunately, I was only able to make a short news blurb because I was travelling up and down quite often after the launch. However, today, I will correct that with a full article on the launch as well as specifications of the new HP Pocket PCs. I will also add some of my opinions of the Pocket PCs, based on the short time I had to test them.
Alright, let's get on with it!
The Breakfast Launch
If I'm not wrong, the actual launch was on Friday, the 30th of July. That was the launch which the press attended. The launch I attended on Saturday was a short affair mainly targeted at Pocket PC fans from the two websites of MyPDACafe and iPAQClub.
Before the launch, we had a light breakfast, courtesy of HP. For those who are culinarily-inclined, we had some cakes, croissants with tuna and lemon iced tea for breakfast.
Then Alex of Hewlett-Packard shepherded us in and began his presentation.
