The 64MB ACE CompactFlash Card

This is a CompactFlash memory card manufactured by EC-Asia International of Singapore. You may not have heard of them but they are actually the manufacturer of the ACE brand of memory products. Remember the PC100 ACE SDRAM DIMM I initially listed as possibly from an unknown Taiwanese manufacturer? Well, they made that DIMM.

Anyway, Ken Ng and I bought several CompactFlash cards from them for review purposes. We received the cards in a nondescript white box with lots of padding in it. Since the package was directly from the manufacturer and meant for review purposes, I guess the packaging would be different for retail sales.

Ken will be handling review of the 32MB CF card while I review the 64MB card instead. Here's what the 64MB ACE CF card looks like :-

Pretty neat, eh? It comes with its own clear polycarbonate case protects it from damage during transportation. More on that later. Now, let's check out its specifications and then get on with the review.
