Thermaltake MiniTyphoon
Introduction
Most of you probably heard or seen the Thermaltake BigTyphoon before.
As the name suggests, the Thermaltake MiniTyphoon is just well... a mini version of the BigTyphoon.
For those who had never seen BigTyphoon before, here is a shot of the Thermaltake BigTyphoon 120 VX.
Packaging
The MiniTyphoon comes packaged in a plastic blister pack, which is great for detail shelves but offers little protection. Should you think of having it mailed, you will need to pack it properly with a box and lots of foam nuggets.
On the bright side, the package was not sealed, which allows for easy access to the cooler within. So, there's no need for you to draw out the lightsaber. Such packaging is also great for those who want to resell the cooler.
The Contents
Inside the blister pack, you will find a box directly under the MiniTyphoon cooler. It contains all the accessories you need to install the MiniTyphoon.
The accessories provided with the MiniTyphoon are relatively spartan - a manual, a Socket 939 mounting clip, an LGA775 mounting clip, a small packet of thermal transfer compound and a piece of paper.. err.. user manual.
Here's the full list of items you will find in the blister pack :
- One Thermaltake MiniTyphoon cooler
- One Socket LGA775 mounting clip
- One Socket 939 mounting clip
- One packet of thermal paste
- One user manual
