The Package

The Gainward BLISS 7300 GT PCX Golden Sample came in a cardboard box. Its Taiwanese origin was confirmed by the "Limit Edition" label in the front. Fortunately, they lifted the rest of the English text off the NVIDIA press kit, including the canned descriptions on the back of the box.

When we opened the box, we found the BLISS 7300 GT PCX in an anti-static bag, surrounded by walled-off compartments storing the provided accessories.

Inside the box, you should find the following items :

• One Gainward BLISS 7300 GT PCX Golden Sample graphics card
• One DVI port converter
• One HDTV-out splitter cable
• One driver CD
• One PowerDVD 5 CD
• One Quick Start manual

Let's have a quick look at the provided accessories before we go to the card itself.

Accessories

Although the card itself has a VGA-out port, it also comes with a DVI-to-VGA converter which allows you to convert the sole DVI port into a VGA-out port. A HDTV splitter cable was also included in the package.

Two CDs are included in the package - a driver CD as well as a CD for the PowerDVD 5 DVD player software. The driver CD contains a copy of the graphics card driver, a VGA BIOS flash utility, Gainward's EXPERTool utility, Adobe Acrobat Reader as well as a PDF copy of the manual.

Although the manual can be found in the driver CD, Gainward included a print copy with the card. The provided Quick Start manual was surprisingly well-written.
