Testing Methodology
We tested exclusively in Windows Vista, with the latest updates. The latest NVIDIA ForceWare 169.28 beta driver was used. However, Crysis was not able to run at the 1920 x 1200 resolution with this new driver. We had to use 1920 x 1080 instead.
Crysis was tested at 1920 x 1080 at 16x AF and no AA, unless stated otherwise. A minimum of 5 test runs were performed at each setting. The three closest results were taken and averaged to obtain the final frame rate. If the test results varied too much, the entire test was repeated.
Crysis was then upgraded with the 1.1 patch and retested as above. In Crysis 1.1, Motion Blur was set to High, and VSync was disabled, unless stated otherwise. We later tested Crysis 1.1 with Motion Blur set to Medium and Off.
