New Features
New Streamlined Design
Now, let's take a look at WMP10's new or improved features!
- Streamlined Design
With the new user taskbar for the most used features of WMP10, this is certainly the most welcomed feature and the biggest user interface improvement of WMP10. You can practically access these features at any time. Frequently use tools such as ripping, burning and syncing are now within easy reach.
Actually, I feel that WMP10 caters more towards owners of portable devices because almost all the new features were designed to provide easier access for them. Not that I'm complaining!
- Menus Are Out of Your Way
Now, the menu bar is hidden by default in WMP10. But you can easily access the menu bar by right-clicking at the top of the player or at Control Panel at the bottom of WMP10.
You can also show the menu bar by clicking the button at the upper-right corner, right-click at the top or bottom of the player or just double-click the top of WMP10.
This actually sounds a lot like what Winamp and many other media players have been doing all this while.
- Improved Media Library
All of your digital media (purchased music and video, music ripped from CDs, recorded TV, etc.) will now be stored in one place - the improved Media Library.
