The Package
The APIOTEK 12-in-1 Express Card Adapter came in a plastic retail package. You can clearly see the actual adapter right in the front, while the back has its detailed specifications.
We love this kind of packaging, because it's not only easy to visually inspect the product, it's also easy to open and replace it. No need for barbaric scissors and blades!
However, such packaging are not particularly tough. Ours came wrapped in nothing more than waxed paper and got a little bashed up as a result. Fortunately, the adapter itself has not been damaged... as far as we could tell, of course!
So, if you are looking to have this mailed, please ensure there's proper packaging for it. Pack it in a box with bits of foam and/or paper.
The Contents
Opening the package was really easy, as it was not sealed or anything. Inside, you will find the following items :
- One APIOTEK 12-in-1 Express Card adapter
- One info card
Well, the info card is really nothing more than the cardboard insert for the packaging.
Since the adapter does not require any driver (it supports USB 2.0), there's no driver CD or floppy disk. All you need is an operating system that supports USB.
All you need to do is just pop the adapter into your notebook's Express Card slot and you are good to go!
Now, let's take a look at the adapter!
